Bicycle Rally + Ice Cream Social

We're joining with Monk River Bicycle to take history on the road. Grab your bicycle, or put on your walking shoes for the first Bicycle Rally and Ice Cream Social. Get together a team of three to five people and come up with a catchy name; you can even dress up! It’s a tour full of fun facts from the past and you might even find yourself singing opera on Chandler’s Opera House lawn – just to get the next clue!

• Check in between 1:00 and 1:30 pm
• At 1:30 pm rally starts!
• Between 1:30 and 3:00 try to solve as many clues as you can and visit as many sites as possible.
• Be back at the museum by 3:00 pm -maybe you'll win an award!
• Between 2:00 to 4:00 we'll be serving up Old Fashioned Sundaes!

This family-friendly, all age-event will celebrate your accomplishments at the end of the tour with a well-deserved Ice Cream Social. What’s not to like. Tour and ice cream $40 a team (up to five people). Ice Cream only $7 a person.

The event is co-organized with Monk River Bicycle which is located at 819 East Macomb Street in Colchester, Illinois. Owner Will Terrill has developed the route for the rally and will be on-hand with advice and encouragement!
