Taking Questions is a discussion series held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Programs are held on Our Front Porch (indoors!), where informal learning and good conversation are at the fore.

In this series, the museum welcomes some of the area’s most accomplished Historians and Political Scientists to lead conversations around topics in their field of expertise. Asking questions is essential to understanding. The museum is a community hub for informal learning and this series of programs puts guests in the driver’s seat to shape the conversation. The series has been organized with the guidance of historian Larry Balsamo, who will act as the series’ facilitator.

On Wednesday, March 3rd at 7:00 pm Keith Boeckelman will join us for a conversation about the concept of impeachment, the process of impeachment, the four presidents involved, and the results. Guests are invited to ask questions and participate in the discussion. Online participants can use the YouTube comment feature to submit questions and comments.

Dates and topics are subject to change; information about any changes and cancellations can be found on the museum’s website www. wimuseum.org.

Join us Online LIVE or in person

The program will be streamed live on the Museum's YouTube Channel. In-person seating will be limited to 15 people with masks required and social distancing observed.

This discussion series is made possible in part by a grant from Illinois Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Illinois General Assembly. This series is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
