Yes, 2020 has been quite a year. But you know, there is much to be grateful for. Join Museum Director, Sue Scott, and TSPR News Director, Rich Egger for a live stream Gratitude Party. Guests from across the community will share what they are most grateful for this year. The evening will include musical performances and good conversation.

You might be asking why... well, we think that many things go unnoticed and we’d like people to have a chance to be recognized. When we look collectively at what’s been accomplished this year, no doubt, we’ll realize how resilient and strong we are as a community. It is also a chance to see how acts of kindness, heroic deeds, and out of the box thinking CAN make a difference. We are counting on that hearing all our Gratitude Stories we can move into 2021 fortified and ready for whatever comes our way next.

The Guestlist!

We'll welcome guests from across the community including:

  • Macomb Mayor Mike Inman and City Administrator, Scott Coker
  • Musicians Bill Maakestad, Tiana Thakur and Chris Vallillo
  • Students from the McDonough County CEO Program
  • IL Humanities Executive Director, Gabrielle Lyon and Director of Grant Programs Mark Hallett
  • Julie Terstriep from the Easley Museum
  • Erin Eveland, executive director of The Hub Arts and Cultural Center
  • The McDonough County Branch NAACP President, Byron Oden-Shabazz
  • Historian John Hallwas
  • and more!
